Telecom companies had contacted TRAI showing their loss due to the usage of whatsapp and skype.
Telecom companies in India states that, they have been suffering from great loss due to the migration of people from mobile messaging and calls to cheap and efficient way of communication like whatsapp.
Users have been posting their aggression on social networking websites like facebook for the past few days.
People are forced to migrate from using the prehistoric SMS service to whatsapp or skype due to increase in charge of sms services and due to the advantages that messaging apps have over sms .
But if TRAI impose charge on using whatsapp and other messaging apps, the ones who have to suffer will be the users.
