What do you mean by rooting an android device ?

Well, the term " Rooting" is familiar to most of the android users, but for few of them it may sound strange.So here we are to tell you about the advantages and disadvantages of rooting your android smartphone. 

Well, Rooting gives you almighty power over your android device, that is your can do whatever you want .

Rooting is mostly done to overcome the limitations that some hardware manufacturers and carriers put on some devices.

 Rooting gives you power to install and run applications that require administrative privileges. for example some applications that require administrative privileges are Titanium Backup ,Root Browser  . If you are in need of these applications, you can download them from the google playstore.

Root access also gives the users to change the operating system version and even install any custom operating systems, we may call it a custom ROM.

Gaining Root access will let u hide applications that No one can find .

Since android is derived from linux kernel, rooting gives you administrative permissions like in linux operating system!! 

Literally you become the "superuser" :)

Rooting also allows the users to change the processor speed to their desired level (up to the maximum that your hardware supports)

The one main use of rooting is you can delete unwanted system applications which is usually called as bloatware which consumes RAM and slows down your device 

The main disadvantage of rooting is rooting caused your warranty to be cancelled. 
There is chance of getting your phone bricked if rooting is not done with proper knowledge and instructions. it's not a big deal to root your device, it's easy and fast . :)
